“There is nothing that Studio 104 cannot achieve when it comes to uniform. They bent over backwards to accommodate our every need... The end result is a stunning uniform range that works as a practical uniform solution.”
This iconic restaurant and late night party hotspot set in the heart of Mayfair has been the star of St James’s since it opened all the way back in 1929, hosting a cast of silver-screen stars and royalty along the way.
The brief was to create sophisticated and sexy design using a mix of matt and shine textures that dazzle in the restaurant’s mirrors. Quaglino’s was the first restaurant at which the Queen dined publicly so we knew they wanted to maintain the elegance and glamour of its rich heritage.
Taking inspiration from the chic Quaglino’s cigarette girls of the 90s, our creative team designed an iconic couture hostess dress, which has fast become a talking point at the cocktail bar. The mens’ suits have a contemporary slim fit with gold edging and trim detail. Luxury suiting fabric contrasts with satin lapels and evening trouser stripes and liquid gold geo Jacquards add to the glamorous cabaret feeling.
Influenced by the new interior, artworks and graphics, the gold and black Art Deco-inspired palette and geometric pattern retains the restaurant’s glamorous past and is carried seamlessly throughout the design.
The end result is a collection of sophisticated and striking outfits to celebrate Quaglino's illustrious history and to dazzle the brand into the future. The range was recognised by Professional Clothing Awards and Studio 104 were proud winners of the Best Design Award for the Quaglino range.
