“Success! I can only recommend Studio 104 for everybody in search of a unique, bespoke and high quality uniform service that takes your vision and makes it a reality.”
The Thames Foyer restaurant is the spot where guests have been coming to enjoy The Savoy’s famous afternoon tea for over a century.
Thames Foyer is an iconic London destination. It’s where the term ‘Dinner Dance’ was created and where Frank Sinatra would often being found playing the piano. Regarded as the heart of The Savoy hotel, the Thames Foyer is a stunning glass domed atrium, radiating natural lights and sociable warmth.
Working with the Savoy’s very own resident historian, Studio 104 carried out extensive research, coming to the final Edwardian-Orient concept. It was the true story of the ‘flying birds’ that really captured our imaginations, an event that took place in the Thames Foyer in 1918.
We designed a bespoke print lining illustrating the bird story evoking conversational interaction between the staff and the guests. To tie the range together our attention to detail covered bird brooches, cufflinks, scarves and pocket squares.
At the heart of Studio 104 are a group of passionate designers & makers.
