Instantaneously heralded as one of London’s finest coffee shops, the Dorchester’s newly launched café was looking for a premium uniform to match their ultimate luxury experience.
The Dorchester is one of the world’s most iconic hotels. Steeped in London’s history it has a heritage that few other hotels can match. A place of legend, of stories, of memories, the Dorchester has hosted some of history’s most celebrated icons and many great romances. Most notably being the London residence of Hollywood’s most desirable of couples, Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.
The bespoke nature of the fabric used in creating the Dorchester range was the eye catching part of its popularity. Studio 104 worked closely with references given by the interior design company at the Dorchester.
Using the information provided Studio 104 colour matched the interiors to come up with the pallet for the garments. From the melange effect on the bowtie to the matching yellow yarn, purposefully co-ordinated to mirror the coffee machine at the hotel, every item was meticulously detailed to achieve the best outcome. Since then the guests at the hotel have asked whether or not the uniform can be purchased, especially the apron.
