The hotel mixes a Far Eastern style with deeply traditional British luxury interior to create a lavish setting. It is steeped in history and our focus was to create a uniform design which carefully balanced the heritage of the hotel, incredible ancestry of the building and its beautiful surroundings.
Working alongside Joyce Wang, the renowned Far Eastern Interior Designer, our starting point was the luxury age of travel. Our inspiration for the project was vintage trunks and their brass hardware.
To build on our key design references we took an inside out approach to deliver a look that was truly own-able for the hotel and its location. Inspired by Hyde Park and Knightsbridge we translated this through the bespoke uniform's texture, colour and pattern.
Our iconic uniform designs, from the striking doorman all the way through to the elegant waiters, housekeeping and spa teams, have imbued a sense of pride in the staff creating a new legacy for this unparalleled London location.
