One of Studio 104's first luxury hospitality projects was the design of the uniforms for The Savoy's Thames Foyer in 2016. It was therefore an even greater honour to be invited back by The Savoy to create the uniforms for the relaunch of the space, now known as Gallery, in 2025. The Gallery has been reimagined as a stunning blush-toned destination, where grand chandeliers and a magnificent stained-glass dome create an atmosphere of timeless elegance.
While embracing a fresh new identity, the uniform collection celebrates The Savoy's rich heritage. Studio 104 introduced traditional British tailoring details and Prince of Wales checks in tribute to the hotel's reopening by The Prince of Wales in 2010. The collection also reflects the pivotal role that art, music, and dance have played in shaping The Savoy's iconic legacy. A palette of poppy reds, sumptuous velvet textures, and gold detailing evokes the glamour of the hotel's celebrated past while introducing a sense of contemporary elegance and refinement.
A playful twist is introduced to the collection through highly bespoke accessories and prints, celebrating the space and its legendary jazz bands and dance nights. This includes references to the iconic dance style “Savoy Style,” which originated at The Savoy itself. Expressive prints capture this energy through hand sketches, dynamic graphic layouts, and playful logo placements.
