Portfolio Update: Bespoke Uniform for Ikos Porto Petro Resort
ounded in 2015, the Ikos Group is leading the way for luxury holiday experiences within the Mediterranean region. As the premium brand continues to succeed and grow, its presence within the top-end of the all-inclusive luxury market has been cemented. Ikos Porto Petro seamlessly blends exceptional hospitality, ultra-chic style, and five-star facilities throughout the renowned Ikos all-inclusive concept. Whilst the group enhances current hotels, and continues to develop new resorts, the need for a luxury uniform to align with their developments was only natural. Studio 104 was selected to partner up with the group, to design and produce a bespoke uniform which marries together the premium aesthetic of the luxury brand.
Studio 104 created a uniform program for Ikos Porto Petro, drawing inspiration from the mesmerizing seascapes and natural beauty of Mallorca, featuring textures reminiscent of the island’s unique dry-stone walls and traditional hemp fabric. Incorporating the essence of Mediterranean architecture, characterized by clean lines, arches, and earthy tones that seamlessly blend with natural surroundings, Studio 104’s designs embody a timeless and chic style. This influence is reflected in contemporary silhouettes and smart tailoring details, creating a harmonious connection between a modern design approach and the island’s heritage. The result is a contemporary and stylish resort collection, which launched in May 2023.
For the range to be a success, not only was it important for Studio 104 to hit the design brief to ensure it was as impressive and in tune with the resort aesthetic, but it also had to be well considered to ensure all items worked operationally and commercially for the groups impressive and ever-growing multi-property portfolio.
The Product Developing team sourced and developed highly bespoke technical fabrics to ensure they would endure the demanding and intense work conditions in the sun, heat and close by to the sea. Each fabric underwent rigorous testing to ensure maximum functionality, to withstand the everyday demands of a luxury resort.
Overall Studio 104’s exclusive uniform collection for Ikos Porto Petro has blended the modern and contemporary Ikos aesthetic, with natural detailing from the local surroundings, whilst also delivering maximum functionality to suit the resort lifestyle. The collaboration with has redefined and elevated the uniform offering, whilst ensuring the program is an operational success.
The uniform range has been so well received that the project has now extended to further Ikos Group resorts, the most recent range having launched in May 2024 for the newly refurbished Ikos Olivia resort in Greece.
We at Studio 104 thoroughly enjoy growing the uniform program alongside the growing success of the Ikos Group and we are extremely pleased with the success of our partnership.
