Ultimate Arabian Luxury Spa Experiences - UAE
world away from the ordinary, the Middle East’s luxury resort spas are a rose-scented haven for wellness vacationers seeking ultimate pampering in the most spectacular, surprising destinations. From lavish hammams to nourishing Dead Sea baths, indulgent treatments employ natural, local ingredients creatively paired with the latest revitalizing techniques for a spa vacation that will be as effective as it is unforgettable.
Out of the many world class spas the Middle East has to offer, starting with the UAE in this post, these are my picks of bunch:

Emirates Palace Spa, Abu Dhabi
Presenting decadent experiences with an Arabian touch, Emirates Palace Spa features an exotic blend of Moroccan-inspired interiors interlaced with delicate furnishings and spa décor.

The 1,500 sqm award-winning Emirates Palace Spa features 7 opulent spa suites and 2 traditional Moroccan hammams that is well appointed with two Jacuzzis, two steam rooms, heated marble, and an ice cave.

Talise Spa, Burj Al Arab, Dubai
The Burj Al Arab Spa location is perched 150 metres above the Arabian Gulf, with views that whisk away any lingering tension. There is no better way to reinvigorate and restore your mind and body than at this nature-based luxe spa. Talise Spa prides itself in hiring only the most skilled and caring therapists, who will get the most out of these treatments for you.
Located on the 18th floor of one of the world’s most luxurious hotels, Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, the extravagant decor is strongly reminiscent of bathing pools used by ancient Middle Eastern civilizations. Talise Spa offers a unique nature-based luxury environment to help you unwind.

Satori Spa, Bab Al Shams Desert Resort and Spa, Dubai
The five-star property opened its doors in 2004 and has since captured the hearts of both residents and international travelers in search of desert adventure and Arabic hospitality. The interiors are modeled on a traditional fort and are replete with Bedouin knick-knacks such as carved wooden chests and complexly woven carpets that line the narrow corridors of the labyrinthine hotel.

I had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic property over Easter and paid a visit to the on-site Satori Spa, reputed as a place for complete relaxation. It is small yet charming and provides guests with bespoke therapies within private treatment rooms at the edge of the desert - utilising the natural environment to heighten the sensory experience. I opted for a hot stones massage and a facial, and Moasad and Sandy did a superb job in making my stay extra special and left feeling completely relaxed and pampered….it was the Perfect Spa-cation!
