THE GREAT SUCCESS BEHIND THE 104 COLLECTION

S

ince the launch of our made to order ‘104 Collection’, the range has doubled in size, now offering over 110 styles to select from. This demonstrates just how much of a popular and successful range it has been for our expanding client base.

The inspiration behind the collection came from Jane Porter, our Founder and CEO. Jane realised the importance to produce a range which has the same Studio 104 essence, in that it is both stylish and premium, but can be turned around at a quicker rate, offering clients a new solution if they are working towards a tight deadline and/or budget.

The Carlisle Dress and The Greenock Shirt

Here at Studio 104, we consistently look for ways that we can help solve clients’ uniform problems, and so we continue to expand the 104 Collection, carrying out research to identify areas that have room for further development. When developing the range, our designers and product developers consider a variety of job positions and not only design with specific positions in mind, but also design pieces that could work across a plethora of businesses worldwide. Our 104 Collection covers both formal and casual designs, suitable for luxury hotels, hospitality, retail, business, beauty and leisure spas, airlines, events and luxury brands. The range is extremely diverse, making it perfectly suitable for a variety of high-end brands.

Every aspect of the range has been meticulously thought through. Our product developers are constantly sourcing new fabrics from reputable mills, looking for new fabrics and trims that could be used within a uniform range. Consistently adding to our fabric library means that each client has a wide offering that can set their brand apart from their competitors.

Although it is key for us at Studio 104 to design a uniform range that beautifully aligns with the luxury client we are working with, we also understand that the longevity of a uniform range is equally as important. This is why our garment technologist chooses specific construction and technical details to ensure maximum durability and for each garment to survive in the working environment.

Part of the vision for the 104 Collection was to offer clients a more flexible service. We have successfully achieved this through the development of our three-tier system, which means clients can choose how much they would like to customise their uniform range.

Tier One offers a uniform program selected wholly from the 104 Collection catalogue. The beauty of selecting from this range is that not only can the made to order uniform be turned around in 4-5 months, the uniform is still tailored to your brand through the selection of fabrics, trims and accessories. Whether you are a luxury hotel based in London, or a resort in a hot climate, we can creatively personalise the range to show your brand identity and bring individuality to the uniform. We appreciate the importance for brands to have their own identity, and so we keep this in the forefront of our minds when designing into the uniform ranges, ensuring no two uniforms are the same.

Within the 104 Collection we offer bespoke accessories; this is often very appealing for clients as it allows more personality to come through the range. Whether this be a pair of bespoke cufflinks or a hand-drawn bespoke pocket square to add some flair, we can capture the spirit of your brand through the playfulness of these types of accessories.

Tier Two offers clients a hybrid range of bespoke and 104 Collection pieces, designed to complement and sit together beautifully. This can be beneficial for clients with more specific needs and criteria. Whilst the lead time is slightly longer due to the bespoke personalisation of some pieces, having a balance with the pre-designed range means timings remain very efficient.

Tier Three offers a fully bespoke uniform project, with a lead time of 8-9 months.

At Studio 104 we remain passionate about offering a bespoke level of service for each of our clients. Included in each tiers’ package we will always offer team fit days where our specialist garment technologist will fit the uniform to each of the staff, actioning any alterations that are required, to ensure the uniform fits the team beautifully. We believe a top level of service is only right for our high-end clients.

The 104 Collection is accessible to purchase directly from Studio 104. To view the range, receive the latest look book and discover the customisations available, please contact the team on enquiries@studio-104.com or call now on +44 (0)207 502 5015.
