Studio 104’s big win at The Professional Clothing Awards 2016!
Studio 104 is thrilled to announce our win of the Best Managed Boutique Contract at the Professional Clothing Awards 2016! Hosted by Director-e the night of the Awards was one to remember…
However Studio 104’s preparation began weeks ago when we first started the application process. Our Managing Director Jane Porter decided that Studio 104 would be entering two categories this year including Best Managed Boutique Contract and Best Stock Design for Corporate Clothing.
We chose to enter our opulent range for Quaglino’s for Best Managed Boutique Contract; the project was managed seamlessly from start to finish but not without its many challenges along the way. The uniform was to be worn by a team of 85 staff across 20 different job positions and the designs had to flow throughout so that each staff member would match with their colleague wherever they may be in the restaurant.
When sending off our designs it was important that they made an impact from the beginning and the Studio 104 branding was seen throughout the presentation. Jane had a vision of the Studio 104 copper completely covering our boxes containing our garments; the boxes were also spray painted silver on the inside for maximum impact. We finished off the designs with beautiful tassels and ribbons which completed the whole effect. Take a look at the finished result of our unique delivery!
On the 22nd June 2016 the team glammed up for the black tie awards ceremony at the Excel London. In great spirits; thanks to the champagne reception and three course meal. We could hardly believe it when the hosts Sharron Davis and Sophie Smith announced that we had won Best Managed Boutique Contract!
