In honour of National Afternoon Tea Week we wanted to share some of our favourite tea spots in London. Some of which we’ve even done the uniform for. This week is the perfect opportunity to over indulge in exquisite teas and tasty cakes. Our managing director Jane Porter and the Studio 104 team have done their fair share of tea tasting in some incredibly luxurious spots. Here is a list of some of the best we’ve been to and others we’re dying to try.
Spice up your lunch break by trying somewhere new. Like over indulging at The Savoy Hotel. We worked alongside Lisa King who produced a truly beautiful bird print for Studio 104, which we incorporated into the Thames Foyer’s new striking uniform. King, who did an incredible job whilst working with us, has now gone on to launch her scarf and swimwear collection, currently showcasing in Fortnum and Masons. A massive congratulations from all of us at Studio 104!
The Thames Foyer is a breath-taking spot, perfectly designed from the impeccable decor down to their excellent service. The Savoy Hotel delivers a unique experience and everything is meticulously performed; which is why we wanted our uniform to represent that with intricate details, prints and unusual designs, such as our asymmetric tailcoat. If you’re interested in seeing what our team created you can read all about it here. If we’re tempting you with the thought of Afternoon Tea then you may want to consider heading over to the Savoy Hotel to over indulge in beautiful treats and discover the journey behind beautiful uniforms.
Another must is Charlotte Street Hotel. Another stunning location for Afternoon Tea whether you are in the company of friends, business partners or family. Surrounded by Soho’s vibrancy Charlotte Street Hotel is situated amongst some of London’s best bars, cafés and restaurants. The menu isn’t strict on only serving scones and traditional tea, they also provide a variety of cocktails, champagne, prosecco and specialist infused teas. This is a favourite of Studio 104 and love their fabric interior choices and get so inspired when we visit. We recommend you go!
Claridge’s Hotel is based in Mayfair London and remains true to the culinary heritage, selling traditional finger sandwiches and pastries. If you want to treat you family then this spot is perfect as their menu caters to all demographics with their children’s afternoon tea menu. If you are fond of your tea and love art deco interior then you will be more than impressed with their tea room as the decor is stunning and their tea connoisseur will provide with you with an excellent service.
We are no means experts in tea but we are eager to continue our afternoon tea explorations by visiting:
